2.        Teaching Experience: Teaching experience preferred, but candidates with no experience can be accepted

3.        Certificate: TEFL/TESOL 120+ hours certification minimum (CELTA/DELTA preferred)

5.        Other Requirement: Have an understanding and ability to teach pupils of all abilities; Must be able to obtain a cleared background check

Job Description:

1.        Class Size: around 30

2.        Student Age: 5-14 years old

3.        Working Hours/ Week: 40 hours office hours

4.        Working Days/ Week: 5 days per week (three weekdays and Sat/Sun)

5.        Work Schedule: Weekdays 11:00-20:00, Weekends: 9:00-18:00 (1-hour lunch breaks)

6.        Day to Day Responsibilities:

·  Access Elan resources and plan your Teachers Logs according to the objectives of the courses

·  Deliver high quality literature, writing, and phonics courses to students including assigned quizzes

·  Issue and explain homework assignments to students and parents of younger students

·  Mark all tasks that students complete in class and for homework and fill out post-class comments

·  If your work schedule allows and you have an interest, there is an opportunity to assist with the development of our curriculum, winter and summer materials, and also to assist with marketing events

Salary and Benefit:

1.        Basic Salary: 16,000-22,000RMB/month (pre-tax)

2.        Airfare Allowance: Up to 8,000RMB for return ticket to home country; Airport pick-up

3.        Insurance: Health and accident insurance after probation

5.        Apartment: 1200 RMB hotel reimbursement after 2 months’ probation; 10,000 RMB start-up loan for accommodation
