The Account Director Qualitative (AD) is part of the Qualitative Practice Client Service team in their office. Their primary responsibility is the management of qualitative accounts with a team of professional researchers.

Overall responsibility:

The Account Director Qualitative (AD) is part of the Qualitative Practice Client Service team in their office. Their primary responsibility is the management of qualitative accounts with a team of professional researchers.

Responsibilities:

People Leadership:

  • Assists with recruitment of staff
  • Contributes to the qualitative training programs and activities within the office
  • Ensures training and career development of staff
  • Acts as an advisor and source of technical advice to his/her team or office
  • Represents the organization at professional functions and activities

  • The organization’s Qualitative Tools & Techniques - has strong understanding knowledge, but more importantly the ability to transform tools to make an insightful and memorable imprint on the organization

Required Experience/Skills:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Client Service
  • Proven marketing (research) knowledge
  • Some knowledge of qualitative research methodologies
  • Strong skills in leadership and team management, including staff development
  • Some background and experience in P&L account management
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and develop business
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communications skills

  • Fluency (verbal and written) in English is essential, fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred because of the clientele the position services.
