Job Profile:

The International Business Group (IBG) is seeking a highly self-motivated individual who will serve as a key team member in driving business development of Tencent’s marketing solutions in North America. He or she will work closely, assist and directly report to the Associate Director of Business Development based in the US.


Job Details:
Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for driving business growth for Tencent’s International marketing solutions and products.
  2. Analyze North America market and industry verticals to provide business development plans.
  3. Identify and prospect North America direct sales and agency clients, as well as other strategic partners.
  4. Serve as a consultant to client leadership and present both in closed meetings and publicly on Tencent digital advertising, and more largely on China marketing and advertising landscape.
  5. Attend to all sales enquires and leads diligently and closely follow up for order realization.Create and pitch media plans and campaign proposals to sell through Tencent digital advertising inventory.
  6. Build client trust and monitor/track client related business growth.
  7. Support paperwork onboarding, processing and reporting for advertising campaigns.
  8. Liaison with internal product, operations and other cross-functional team members to ensure client success.
  9. Develop market research and competitor analysis to better support management decision-making.
  10. Assist with other in-market needs as designated by Associate Director.
Requirements
  1. Bachelors degree or above
  2. 5+ years of digital marketing, partnership and/or sales experience
  3. Ability to speak, read, and write Chinese Mandarin and English fluently
  4. Strong record of success in meeting or surpassing sales and client growth targets
  5. Experience working in cross-cultural environment
  6. Proactive with good organizational and time management skills
  7. Resourceful, self-motivated, multi-tasker and able to work under pressure
  8. Resilient problem solver by nature with a growth mindset
  9. Able to work both independently and in a team with initiatives
  10. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with people at all levels
