Job Profile:

We are seeking a service oriented Information Technology Technician (IT Technician). You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot so that our client systems and networks can operate at the highest efficiency and stability. To qualify for this position, one will be expected to:


Job Details:

Responsibilities:

1. Develop a familiarity with all internal hardware/software systems and local networks.

2. Troubleshoot problems with hardware/software/networks (e.g. viruses, intrusion software, user and server OS, storage space issues).

3. Travel interstate to work at different customer sites.

4. Perform regularly scheduled maintenance activities with appropriate timing.

5. Maintain/Document inventory and physical location of all hardware devices.

6. Possess ITIL methodology and experience with ticketing systems.

7. Have good documentation skills and mindset.

8. Provide feedback to Tech Manager regarding possible solutions to reoccurring issues and complex technical issues.

9. Build/Configure new servers/workstations and other mobile devices.

10. Train users about how to properly use company issued equipment.

11. Recommend strategies to prevent downtime.

12. Work within a friendly team to develop best practices to increase network security and stability.


Job Requirements:


1. Sound knowledge of computer hardware/software, internet security, privacy, networks, and operating systems.

2. Effective analytical, problem solving, reporting and documentation skills.

3. Ability to train internal users.

4. Product or Technical Certifications (e.g. A+, CCNA, Cyber Security) is a plus.

5. 3+ year(s) experience working as an IT Technician or relevant roles.

6. Excellent verbal and written communication in English, basic Chinese.

7. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fields favorable.
