Founded by Zizhu High-tech Park, Shanghai Shenghua Zizhu Bilingual School is a nine-year-through private school for primary and secondary education with around 1500 pupils and 185 staff faculties. The School is dedicated to provide diverse courses and development pathways, and now is a member of the East China Normal University Educational Organization and the research and practice center of the Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences for private compulsory education. Current two campuses: Zifenglu Campus and Tanjiatang Campus will be relocated to the Lanxianghu Lake Private Basic Education Park in 2025.
This role requires a versatile and dedicated educator who can not only impart scientific knowledge effectively but also adapt to various teaching environments and curricular demands, all while fostering a collaborative and innovative learning atmosphere.
| Key Responsibilities: |
| 1.Bilingual Science Instruction: To deliver bilingual science courses, encompassing knowledge explanation, practice guidance, and other related teaching activities. |
| 2.Teaching Qualification: Possession of the corresponding teacher's license or certification. |
| 3.Curriculum Background: Experience with IG (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), Pre-IG, and Cambridge examinations, with a thorough understanding of the UK exam syllabus. |
| 4.Subject Flexibility: Ability to teach any subject or combination of subjects within the science domain, such as Chemistry & Biology, or Chemistry & Physics. |
| 5.Lab & Project Leadership: Proven experience in leading scientific experiments and science projects. Ideally, candidates should have at least 2 years of teaching experience in IGSCE or A-Level programs. |
| 6.Linguistic Flexibility: Both native and non-native English speakers are eligible to apply. |
| 7.Teamwork & Culture: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and embrace a positive work culture. |
| 8.Additional Roles: Willingness to take on night shifts, tutoring duties, and homeroom teacher responsibilities. |
| 9.Innovative Teaching: Eagerness to experiment with and adopt new teaching methodologies. |
