Job Details:

Job Summary

  • Assist with Restaurant Manager in day to day operation of outlet.
  • Responsible for efficient and profitable operation of restaurant and direct supervision of management team.
  • Planning and meeting restaurant financial objectives, control expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating correct actions.
  • Responsible for the daily operations to ensure positive performance. Ensure all UBR SOP, policies and procedures are adhered to.

Major Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the restaurant manager, supervises the operations in a specific food service restaurant and / or stand. Responsible for the high standards of safety, service efficiency, training, sanitation, cleanliness and maintenance of the work areas at all times.
  • Assists to manage restaurant sales, direct operating expenses, cost of goods sold and quality, profitability, and guest satisfaction. Review operating results with the team and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Assists with the preparation and cooking of food in accordance to standards recipes and serving guide specifications. This role will encompass the implementation of operating procedures and standards, the management and development of team members, and liaise with attraction management to ensure that UBR short- and long-term goals are met. Assist the Executive Chef to oversee daily culinary operations and all operating equipment cleanliness within the kitchen to meet hygiene standards at all time.
  • Responsible for inventory checks and daily ordering; strictly follow and stay in compliance with UBR procurement policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years job related experience and 1-3+ years leadership experience in a theme park, chain restaurant or other F&B industries.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate is a must; certification of previous training in hospitality is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin to the understanding of Management, employees and guests and provide effective communication.
  • Ability to work flexible hours/shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possess positive attitude, stress handling skills, dependable and reliable work ethics.

Education

  • Hospitality vocational school required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
