This year is the 40th anniversary of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone’s establishment. In order to make Shenzhen more foreigner-friendly, Shenzhen’s Center for International Exchange of Personnel (SCIEP) will hold a symposium in Bao’an to create an opportunity for foreigners and government officials to meet up for a discussion. The purpose of this discussion is to make Shenzhen a better place for foreigners to live, work, and set up a company.
Here are the symposium details:
Date: August 21 (Friday)
Dress Code: Business casual
Location: 4th Floor, Bao’an Talent Park, Fuhai Street, Bao’an, Shenzhen
Ten foreign representatives will be invited, it’s also an excellent opportunity to network and make friends. SCIEP would like to talk with you about some future plans to organize events if you are happy to assist as co-organizers.
SCIEP is now doing the survey which is designed to collect data on the work and life of foreigners in Shenzhen, including graduates, professionals, experts, and entrepreneurs.
The government would like to collect feedback and gather suggestions so they can optimize and improve their services to develop a more international city to work and live in.
