We are a full-time public High School supervised by Beijing haidian district education commission. It is a key High School in Beijing and a model ordinary High School in Beijing.

Job Profile:

Informed by data and most effective practices in curriculum design, instructional strategies, co-teaching and coaching, work side-by-side with teachers and students in grades 6/7 or 8/9 to ensure maximum growth and learning of both students and teachers.

Basic Requirements:
  1. Minimum of two years’ teaching experience
  2. Native English speakers
  3. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate secondary content area or elementary/early childhood education for primary school teachers
  4. Teaching Certification in the appropriate area

Specific Responsibilities
  1. Support with creation of UbD units, assessments and instructional strategies
  2. Support with creation of instructional materials
  3. Support differentiation in instruction
  4. Design and maintain schedule to meet with student and teachers
  5. Maintain accurate records
  6. Design and lead parent and teacher workshops and data meetings
  7. Support in-class instruction and take on instructional role when appropriate
  8. Coordinate and lead testing - specifically MAP and WIDA
  9. Analyze and interpret data, determining instructional implications
  10. Work with faculty groups to design action plans based on data-driven goals
  11. Work with parent groups to understand data and implications for student learning
  12. Proactively communicate about role and accomplishments with teachers, students, parents and administration
  13. Set individual goals for each student and work with each on the attainment of those goals

  6. Knowledge of how to use data to inform decisions affecting instruction
