Guangxi University of Science and Technology

Guangxi University of Science and Technology (GXUST), under the direct jurisdiction of the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is a comprehensive university offering programs in 9 areas, which are engineering, management, science, medicine, economics, philosophy, law, art, and pedagogy, with a major emphasis on engineering. GXUST has 20 secondary schools, 19 research centers, 2 affiliated hospitals and totally 79 undergraduate and 3-year diploma programs.

There are at present more than 27,000 full-time students, including undergraduate students, 3-year diploma students, graduate students and international students in total. Currently there are 7 first level disciplines with Master Degree authorization, 1 second level discipline with Master Degree authorization, 7 Professional Mater Degree programs, and 3 constructing disciplines for Doctoral Degree authorization.

The university has 3 campuses: Donghuan, Liushi and Liudong, covering about 313 hectares of land. Liudong campus is located at No. 19 Guantang Avenue, Yufeng District and is adjacent to the Liuzhou Automobile Town. The first phase construction of Liudong campus is mainly for the School of Automobiles, which covers 31.2 hectares and can accommodate 6,000 students.
