Jade carving is one of the oldest carving varieties in China. Jade is processed and carved into exquisite handicrafts, called jade carvings. In the process of making, the craftsman can carve the jade into exquisite handicrafts after careful design and repeated polishing according to the natural color and natural shape of different jade materials.

Contemporary Chinese jade carving craftsmanship is distributed in many provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities including Beijing, Shanghai, Xinjiang, Yangzhou and Suzhou in Jiangsu, Nanyang in Henan, Guangdong, Yunnan, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Qinghai and other places. They are mainly made into jewelry and accessories and ornaments, etc.

With the development of the economy, wearing and enjoying jade carvings have become fashionable again in recent years, and as the price of jade materials has risen year by year, exquisite jadeware is even more valuable.
