General Statement of Duties:

Outstanding opportunity for Dermatologist to join cosmetic dermatology practice in the first international standard hospital in Shanghai. All business necessities, billing, marketing etc., will be provided by practice. Duties include examining and diagnosing disorders and diseases of the human skin. Prescribing and administering patient medications. Performing a variety of laboratory procedures, examining sample tissues, and uses various biological and chemical analyses to identify harmful organisms or pathological conditions. Consulting with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment.

PRIMARY RESPONSBILITIES

● To provide out-patient general dermatology care and services

● To provide out-patient cosmetic dermatology care and services

● To work with administration to plan and direct a potentially growing service line

● Following UFH’s commitment to educating the next generation of medical professionals, physicians will be responsible, as part of their ongoing duties, for mentoring, precepting, teaching and supervising UFH fellows or other relevant trainees.

● Additional job responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, department chair or CMO.

● Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee.

● Works on quality improvement activities within the department in collaboration with other physicians and Department Chairperson.

● Exemplifies highest levels of professionalism and medical ethics in every aspect of his or her work and relationships.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

3-5 years of cosmetic and general dermatology experience, preferably in a private practice setting, with solid experience with surgical skills and an interest in laser, cosmetic dermatology, Botox, and fillers.

MD or equivalent from an accredited school of medicine.

Board Certification or equivalent in Dermatology

SKILLS

English a must. Mandarin a definite plus.
